| Ans : Transportation and communication are important infrastructures for the overall economic development of a country. Transportation is that facility by which people can move from one place to another place and transfer goods and services from one place to other. The means of transport available in Nepal are road transport, ropeway, cable car and air transport.
Communication is defined as the medium of exchanging news, views and propagation of information. Important medium of communication in Nepal are postal service, radio, telephone, teller, internet, e-mail. Fax, television and newspaper.
