Ans : Secondary data are statistical information which has already been collected by someone for his own use. There are two sources of secondary data:
(i) Published sources:-
The main published sources are:
(A) Government publications
a) Statistical pocket book, statistical year book, etc. published by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS).
b) Economic survey published by Ministry of Finance.
c) The plan document by National Planning Commission.
d) Various publications published by different Ministries, department and government offices.
(ii) Unpublished sources:-
a) Report of private organizations
b) Research works conducted by students to fulfill the requirements of their degrees.
c) Hospital records of patients
d) Records of school, colleges and universities
