| Ans : Human resources is defined as the total active population of a country above 15 years and below 60 years having high level of education, experience, good health and mental condition of a particular period of time. Thus, human resource means the physical and mental quality of people of a country.
The development of a country depends upon quality of human resources available with it. Utilization of available resources depends upon the available human resources and status of human resources development of a country. The technological development of today’s world is the outcome of human resource development.
