Ans : Basis Movement along the demand Shift in demand i. Meaning When there is change in quantity demand because of change in price of it’s own commodity is known as movement along the demand curve. When there is change in quantity demand not because of price but because of some other reasons, it is known as shift in demand curve. ii. Law of demand Quantity demand changes according to law of demand. Quantity demand does not change according to law of demand. iii. Price There is change in price of it’s own commodity.
